About Amy's Ride

Amy Zaluki-Stone (Nummy)

Amy grew up in Marlborough, NH. Shortly after graduating high school in 1984, she enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Lackland AFB in Texas, serving as a medical service specialist. She was honorably discharged in 1988. Amy attended the New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, graduating in 1995 with a degree in nursing. She held various nursing roles in southern NH. At the time of her death she was employed as an Oncology Nurse, at The Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, where she was always a breath of fresh air and a positive light to people, giving them her very best every day.

Amy also achieved the level of third-degree black belt in Ty Kwon Do and successfully participated in tournaments throughout New England and New York.

An avid motorcycle rider, Amy joined the CVMA in February 2019, as a Support Member of Chapter 5-4. Only a few months after being patched in, she passed away in April of that same year.

Amy’s grandchildren called her Nummy. After her death, the “Nummy” ride was established and has been held in her honor every year since to raise money for a nursing scholarship for a deserving student at ConVal high school where Doug and Amy’s daughters attended.

Amy was an incredible person and a beautiful spirit. She is greatly missed by her family and friends.
